Then in view of what you say Julie, I doubt they will have a leg to stand on, if you stand your ground. It could be an opportunity for you to make real improvements for your nurse team credibility and be learning curve of enlightenment for the GPs and PM!
You have nothing to lose after 14 years and a lot to gain...for your self-esteem too.
I suggest you start writing a retrospective journal (if you haven't already) that can be used as evidence. Document any inappropriate instances you can think of. Contact ACAS and the RCN if you are a member.

I used some of the isights from the above websource to help me identify covert bully tactics that are amazingly subtle and unseen even by yourself at the time. It is possible that once these are highlighted in a systematic and professional way to your employers, they will have to stand up and take notice. Put it all in writing.
Under your grievence procedure you can ask to have an interview with your employer and have an RCN rep present, along with a friend or colleague. I would invite my local practice nurse facilitator from the PCT as my 'friend' as she/he will have supportive ammunition in how practice nurses are equal members of the practice team.
